The restaurant was founded by Italian chef Kristian Luciano Spera, who comes from Sardinia, Italy. Growing up in Italy, he was surrounded by the tradition of simple, fresh, everyday food — pizza slices and freshly made pasta.
Instead of fine dining, the idea was to recreate the casual street food experience Italians eat daily.
🍕 Bringing Italian Street Food to Kuala Lumpur
When he moved to Kuala Lumpur, he realized something was missing:
• Authentic pizza al taglio (Roman-style pizza sold by slice)
• Simple Italian comfort food made fresh every day
So the concept of Luciano’s Italian Street Food was born — a small, casual eatery focusing on authentic recipes rather than fancy presentation.
